I do not own any of this, but please comment on your opinions about the storm. I personally believe it wasn't as bad as Irene.

Sunflower

She sits on the ground,
Gazing at her mother.
For she is so bright, so big and so round.
She comes from the sun,
And looks just like her,
An Earth-bound loved one.
Her leaves are deep green,
Like emeralds in the air,
More stunning than anything you've ever seen.
Nothing is as beautiful as O' tall Sunflower,
Daughter of the sun,
